Birth is 75% Mental and 25% physical…

Mindset in childbirth
Mindset in pregnancy
Postpartum mental health
Baby bonding

Now there is no proof to this, but I have observed this and when I work with clients I focus heavily on mindset. If you have already decided you cannot do this without working through that belief, you won’t be able to do it. However, if you work through that belief, well, rationally fear, you will.

The work you do mentally as well as physically through pregnancy is incredibly important, both equally so. It is hard work, but that is why you have a doula. We can help you through it all and we are here for it.

The truth is, you can do this, you were created to do this, and even if you want to give up in the middle of it all because you did the work prior, that will all come back to mind and I can remind you of everything you have already accomplished, which is a lot by the time you reach labor.

This is so important not just for labor and delivery, but postpartum as well. Postpartum is the most difficult time in all of this, often referred to as the fourth trimester. You have never been more tired, more not feeling yourself, or more surreal than you will in this time period. To set you up for success and scientifically proven better outcomes for breastfeeding, postpartum depression, anxiety and bond with baby we start with the mind. It all starts there. It is pivotal you feel herd, safe, held, and spoken life into.

I am so proud of you for stepping up and reading this, for being here today. it is no coincidence that you are reading this right now. Let’s work towards your goals of having this baby not just at the bare minimum of a healthy baby and a healthy mom, but for you to actually thrive not just physically but mentally. I want you to be amazed at yourself to see the rockstar you really are and I would love to work with you on this. Let’s do it. The truth is you can do this! You can do hard things! You are amazing and already an amazing mother.
