My Story

My name is Karriane Grow, I am a Woman Who Serves certified Doula servicing Dayton, Greater Cincinnati, Columbus and surrounding areas.

After having navigated women’s health care here in the US for 21 years to get answers for debilitating pain to finally receive a diagnosis of endometriosis, I knew there had to be others out there who felt as lonely and lost as I did without support. So I set out to change that for others and began to think of where I could serve other women in their most vulnerable time so they felt heard, seen, and held.

Having been a mother’s helper and nanny for nearly a decade I saw a great need for advocacy, support, and all around compassion my fellow gals needed during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I saw how this was when women were most vulnerable. So I became a doula.

I believe helping families, including partners through the unknowns of childbirth and beyond will change the world. One pregnancy, one birth, and one postpartum story at a time. I learned the tools needed to accomplish this and continue my education and dedication to the families I serve with compassion, dignity, and joy.

I believe strongly in this work and in evidence based physiological birth for all women. Women were created for this, I firmly believe the Lord has given us strength to  birth and I see what is stacked up against us in this world. I have developed a great passion for birth both in hospital and at home the last couple years. I have been in this role. I have loved every client I work with no matter how they choose to birth.
